Winslow’s FAUL Type 1 LifeRaft is a TSO C70a compliant dual-tube liferaft with more included features than most corporate aviation liferafts.
Standard features include a self-erecting canopy, inflatable floor, and Winslow Ultima Wrap vacuum packaging that provides a barrier to moisture and atmospheric contamination. A three year service cycle is standard with this liferaft.
Its soft valise pack configuration is considered the traditional pack type for corporate aviation liferafts, its yellow fabric is pliable, durable, and lighter weight than its hard packed counterpart.
In its hard pack configuration, it is ideal for operations that demand a little extra pack durability such as frequent installation and removal and rough contact with the tarmac. In unforgiving environments, the hard pack configuration excels.
